A week ago this rose bush was pretty bare. The buds then decided to explode this week, apparently! Nice splash of color in the front of our house :-)

Squishable Android at Work

Today was "Take Your Squishy To Work" Day, and I brought App, our Android squishable, in. Posed him with a bagel (for Bagel Wednesday!), a mug of tea, and a computer-- featuring Androids, of course! ;-)

Taco Tuesday

Great Happy Hour deal at our local Baja Grill. Combined with donuts from the bakery next door and froyo from the Sweet Alley on the other side, it makes for a nice, filling evening out!

Wireless Headset

An essential part of the office. Very handy (ha!) for hands-free calling, and with a range of a couple hundred feet, I can easily wander to the kitchen for a cup of tea while on a conference call.

Number Card

... with a pretty high value! You know how at some eateries you get a numbered card so they'll deliver your food to the correct table? Well, I never expected these cards to go into the triple-digits! But here we are, order #100 at Baja Grill!

Bar Dog

This cute, sweet fella was roaming around OTT while we were there for karaoke. He certainly seemed to be enjoying himself!

Dressing Room Hooks

Every dressing room has them. But the ones at Marshalls are actually labeled for better organization of the clothes you try on! Not pictured is the "tomorrow" hook behind me, for the rejects :-)

Steamed Apples and Carrots

Since I'm allergic to stone fruits and apples and pears, I can't eat them raw. But I CAN eat them cooked/processed! So I steamed carrots and apples to go with our chicken dinner. Delicious! :-9

Gumball Table

The tables at the Whodelicious cupcakes store at Paseo Nuevo all feature glass tops over a barrel of some kind of candy! This rainbow gumball one was my favorite. Now that's delicious, colorful and creative!

Baby Shoes

A couple rows of cute shoes fill baby Anivieve's shelves. She's not quite old enough to need shoes yet, but these miniature things are simply adorable!

Empty Bottles

Trailer park living, part 4: a ton of empty beer and soda bottles litter the kitchen countertop as they dry off before we dump them into the recycle bin. True spirit of trailer park living calls for having them on the porch, though, doesn't it?

Ginger Cats

I'm not much for ginger, and I'm not a fan of cats, but combine the two together and you get some really delicious cookies from Trader Joe's!

This bit of graffiti was scratched into the bathroom door of our local Quiznos sandwich shop. I love how the "Subway" part of it is crossed out!

Double-whammy! Incorrect spelling AND incorrect use of apostrophes. Here's wishing you a Happy Birtday' this summer! ;-)

Hair Dryer

One of the perks I enjoy about this house is that the previous owners installed a hair dryer on the wall of the master bathroom, next to the medicine cabinet. Just like a hotel room! It's sooo convenient!

New Couch!

Brand new modular leather couch from Macy's arrived today. Yay, no more fighting for limited space on our old sofa! This is the Stacey collection-- 6 pieces, dark brown, fits nicely into our living room-- with plenty of space to spare!

5-Month-Old Driver

Little Anivieve looks adorable and tiny in Kenzie's little play car. I guess you can't start them off with driving lessons too early!

GoToMeeting Tattoos

At our quarterly all-hands meeting today, there were tables set up with water and GoToMeeting (with HDFaces) tattoos. What a way to show product pride, eh? By wearing it on your skin?

Orange balloons and daisies adorn the receptionist's desk in honor of the release of HDFaces, the webcam component to GoToMeeting. What is GoToMeeting's icon? Why, none other than an orange daisy, of course!

The Butt Defenders

aka Stinky, Inky, and Itchy. Why "butt defenders"? Because they all employ defense mechanisms via their behinds: spraying stinky liquid, squirting dark ink, and flicking itchy hairs. Their real names are Shelly (rhymes with smelly), Inky and Sassy, of course :-D
